    Patrick Ip is a digital pioneer, entrepreneur and coffee connoisseur. He’s passionate about the intersection of social media and social good. Most recently, Patrick started Kip Solutions, a social media-consulting firm for social causes, which was acquired in February 2013 by New York based firm Post+Beam. Now, Patrick serves as the United States Country Manager for Pozible and the Founder of the Baller Dinner & Kula, Inc.

    The Baller Dinner was started in February of 2012 with a simple habit of hosting a dinner whenever I traveled to a new city. It started with 7 people in London. Today, more than 800+ people have attended a baller dinner from Shanghai to Hong Kong to San Francisco to Chicago.

    Kip Solutions is a social media consulting firm for social causes. The company was acquired on February 2013 by New York based firm Post + Beam. Kip Solutions was featured as the 2012 Inc. Magazine Coolest College Start-up and Top 50 Most Innovative College Startups by the Kairos Society. It was also featured on Boston Globe, Glamour, NBC, UChicago Booth News, TuftsNow, Modesto Bee and many more.


    United Nations ASPIRE

    Senior Adviser, Executive Director of UNAI ASPIRE Sep 2010 - Jun 2012

    United Nations ASPIRE was the youth-arm of the United Nations Academic Impact. As Executive Director of Aspire, Patrick and his team launched over 700 satellite hubs in over 100 countries in the first five months of launch. Patrick also delivered and represented global youth at the UN Press Conference with UN Undersecretary General Kiyo Akasaka. Patrick's success at the United Nations contributed to his recognition by the Jefferson Awards, considered to be the Nobel Peace Prize for Community Service, as a GlobeChanger.


    University of Chicago

    Vice-President of Student Affairs Sep 2010 - Jun 2011

    In 2010, Patrick was elected Vice-President of Students Affairs for Student Government at the University of Chicago. Key contributions form Patrick include negotiating new contracts with an airport vendor that lowered transportation prices by 15%, expanding transportation options and times for students while saving money  and negotation referral incentives with partners to generate a 10% income per transaction for Student Government.

    In 2009, Patrick was elected one of the youngest assembly district delegates in California's history.

    As an intern for the McCormick Foundation, Patrick help to publish an academic paper on extra-curricular activities and poverty in Illinois.


    The Foundation for Young Australians

    Intern Jun 2010 - Sep 2010

    As an intern at the Foundation for Young Australian, Patrick successfully pitched a three-year plan for a new branch of the Foundation at the CEO and Board of Trustee’s Retreat  and laid the foundation for developing a student component for the Foundation and a multi-year strategy for execution.

    During the 2008 Campaign, Patrick led California as the California High School State Coordinator. Patrick help develop national plans and created 150+ chapters in California by collaborating with other state leaders.

    Patrick has spoken internationally from keynoting at the United Nations 63rd Annual UN Conference, UN press conferences to TedxHong Kong. Patrick speaks on a variety of topics including entrepreneurship, student activism, social media and crowdfunding.
